You do not need to prepare anything in advance. This is the only interview and is used to supplement your previously submitted application. Program Overview

The purpose of the Group Facilitation Fellowship is to provide an experience open to 16 first- or second-year students to develop group leadership. Upon completion, participants will have the skill and practical experience necessary to lead student organizations, research teams, and other small groups. The program is designed for all levels of experience and ability. A primary output of this program is a talented and prepared pool of candidates for our staff recruitment process. Students do not have to have an interest in working for the GLC but should have a clear goal of the type of group or organization that they are preparing to lead.

Participant Expectations

• Bring your binder to all sessions. We will supply binders and all relevant materials and handouts at sessions.
• Read and respond to any communication from GLC staff within 2 business days.
• Thoroughly complete all pre- and post-session activities/reflections.
• Actively participate and engage with other fellows and staff during sessions.
• Have fun!

Attendance Policy and Expectations

• Share any date and time conflicts prior to being accepted to the Group Facilitation Fellowship.
• Participants must attend all sessions, for the entire duration of the session. All session dates and times are listed above.
• In the case of serious illness or family emergency you must send an email to [email protected] at least an hour prior to the event. You will be required to make up the session.
• If you miss any sessions and do not have an excused absence, you may choose to continue in the program but will not receive the fellowship award.
• It is not possible to make-up the Challenge Course session. If you have an excused absence for the Challenge Course session and complete all other Fellowship requirements, you will receive a 50% of your Fellowship Award.

As a participant in the Group Facilitation Fellowship (GFF), you are required and committed to attend the scheduled meetings and events. Participants must be responsible and respectful of other participants and program leaders’ time.
