- Sample structure: Spring Kick-Off event in early February then project meetings with your group every 2-3 weeks from February through April. You will then present your work at the Leadership Showcase on Wednesday, April 23

đź—Ł In addition to these key dates, you will also complete the CliftonStrengths assessment to better understand your natural talents and meet at least twice per semester with a peer leadership coach.

Attendance Policy
As a participant in the Leadership Certificate program, you are required and committed to attend the scheduled meetings and events. Participants must be responsible and caring of other participants and program leaders’ time.
Please thoroughly read the following attendance guidelines for the Leadership Certificate program as you must adhere to them to complete the program successfully
- Participants must not exceed one (1) “No Call” No Show (NCNS) during the Leadership Certificate program. In order to avoid a No Call No Show absence, communicate that you will not attend to your learning group leader via email.
- Participants must not exceed three (3) Excused Absences (EA) during the entirety of the Leadership Certificate program. These excused absences must not exceed two (2) per semester and must not exceed more than one (1) of the three learning sessions.
- Participants must not exceed two (2) Unexcused Tardiness (UT) during the Leadership Certificate program. An Unexcused Tardiness (UT) is defined as a situation where a participant attends an event/meeting scheduled for the program after 15 minutes or more of the arranged time without notifying their program leader.
- Participants must not exceed three (3) Excused Tardiness (ET) during the Leadership Certificate program. An Excused Tardiness (ET) is defined as a situation where a participant attends an event/meeting scheduled for the program after 15 minutes or more of the arranged time but notifies their program leader at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled event/meeting.
Participants must not miss more than one (1) of the three learning sessions whether by a NCNS or by an EA.
