SHELTER:

• Mega-Light Tent Set:
  • This set includes the Black Diamond MegaBug inner Tent, MegaLight Tarp, a single carbon-fiber pole, 8 stakes, and 8 paracords. Lightweight, seam-sealed, durable, and with adjustable stakeout points, this pyramid-style tent can be used with or without the inner tent with the addition of a ground tarp. While technically this tent is considered a 4-person tent, we recommend it sleeps 2-3 people.
• 10’ x 10’ Tarp Set:
  • This set includes the Cooke Custom Sewing 10’ x 10’ nylon rainfly tarp, 8 stakes, and 8 paracords. Lightweight, durable, nylon, and versatile, this tarp set is comfortable for 3-4 people.

SLEEPING

• Sleeping Bag
  • We rent a variety of Mountain Hardware sleeping bags ranging in temperature rating and size. Renter(s) will be assessed for appropriate temperature rating and size upon pick-up.
• Sleeping Pad
  • We rent 2 kinds of sleeping pads. The Therm-a-rest RidgeRest is a roll-up foam ground pad; it’s lightweight, insulative, and water-resistant. The Therm-a-rest ZLite is an accordion-style ground pad that is lightweight, insulative, and water-resistant.
• Sleeping Bag Liner
  • This Ace Camp Sleeping Bag Liner is lightweight and breathable, adding 10 degrees of warmth to your bag. Polyester and Fleece are available.
• Hammock
  • This Winner Outfitters Double Camping Hammock is made of nylon parachute fabric, with a 500lb limit, designed to fit 2 people. This rental includes 2 tree straps and 2 pre-attached carabiners.

CAMP KITCHEN

• Backcountry Cooking Bundle
  • This bundle includes a pan, 2 pots with lids, spatula, spoon, pot gripper, dip cup, dish scraper, and soap. One bundle is recommended for 1-4 people.
• Stove & Fuel Set
  • This set comes with an MSR DragonFly Stove, fuel pump, windscreen, heat reflector, lighter, and fuel.
  • NOTE: This rental requires a skill competency demonstration, anticipate a 15-minute skill demo with assigned student staff upon pick-up meeting. Prior knowledge of stove use is REQUIRED.
• Personal Dish Set
  • This 1-person set includes a plastic bowl, mug, and spoon.
• Nalgene
  • 32 oz. wide-mouth Nalgene water bottle.

WATER FILTRATION

• Steri-Pen Set
  • This water purification device is used to sterilize any bacteria from outdoor water sources. Its ultraviolet (UV-C) light rays safely purify clear water by destroying 99.99% of protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidia), bacteria, and even viruses. However, it does not filter out toxins such as heavy metals and other inorganic compounds.
  • A skill demonstration with a student staff member is REQUIRED to rent equipment, you can do this in your pick-up meeting. This set comes with a Steri-Pen, Nalgene Adapter, and case. Prior knowledge of Steri-Pen use is REQUIRED.
  • AA Batteries NOT included
• Drom (6L, 10L)
  • This water containment device is great for trips with limited water sources where you will need to fill up at a water source before going to your camp spot. All water put in a drom needs to be treated.

BACKPACKS

• Backpack
  • We rent a variety of Osprey & Deuter backpacks ranging in size and volume capacity. Renter(s) will be measured for an appropriate-sized backpack upon pick-up.
